Additional Information

basic life support courses

It`s been quite a few years since I did my first aid training and I`m not even sure if I could remember any of the techniques that were taught to me when it comes to life support. I feel quite ashamed when I say this because as a parent I should have some idea of how to resuscitate my kids should anything happen to them. With basic life support courses I could soon refresh my knowledge and I`d feel a whole lot more confident in the future if I reacquainted myself with these skills. Finding suitable courses to book myself onto isn`t that hard really. All I have to do is look online and there are a number of basic life support training courses that I come across. Many of these courses are aimed at companies who could enroll their workers on the programmes. After just a few hours new knowledge could be gained and worries about resuscitation would be alleviated. It might have been quite few years since I had any sort of first aid training but I`m certain that I could soon pick up the skills I had obtained once more. All I have to do is book onto a basic life support courses and it will help to give me the resuscitation skills that could come in very handy in the future.

child protection courses

People that work in the healthcare services receive the best type of training for their roles. A host of courses can prove to be invaluable if the healthcare professional is to perform their duties to the best of their abilities. Sometimes sensitive issues can be raised when they are carrying out their duties such as when they feel a child might be in need. Children can be especially vulnerable and due to this they might need some form of protection. Helping the healthcare workers when it comes to children in need is a comprehensive type of child protection courses. These courses are run by senior clinicians that have experience of advocacy for vulnerable children. As part of the course content people will learn the definition of a child in need. They will also learn the definition of a child in need of protection and all the appropriate legislation and guidelines that cover the topic. Confidentiality and proportionate information sharing will be covered on the child protection training as will the particular vulnerability of children that are under one year of age. The nature and diversity in child protection is also discussed as part of the child protection training. Healthcare officials that work with children on a regular basis will find this high level of training to be crucial.
